Hi my name is Paul Fortier, born and raised in Cornwall Ontario. My wife and I have been married for over 40 years and we raised 7 children. I worked for the Ministry of Correctional Services for 32 years and finally now I'm retired. I discovered the hobby of metal detecting in 2011and that became my addiction. While researching some old coins, I stumbled on a site about coin rings and instantly I was interested. Watched many videos did many attempts at fabricating a ring but they looked ok for "a practice ring", so started purchasing tools, reading and studying, and many hours of practice. Well I can actually say I now have 2 addictions Metal Detecting and Coin Ring Making. So I'm blessed at these new hobbies, it turned out to be an excellent Retirement part-time job, best part of that is I love it.
